Communities in Schools gives update on local impact

January 15, 2019 by CISMBC

Communities in Schools of Milledgeville/Baldwin County (CISMBC) gave an update on the nonprofit organization’s 2018 impact to local business leaders and community members today.

With the help of local sponsors, CISMBC hosted a breakfast at Central Georgia Technical College’s conference center and provided statistics and stories to illustrate the difference the organization is making in local public schools.

After a short introduction from CISMBC Board Chair Terry Kennedy and invocation from the Rev. David Luke of Flipper Chapel A.M.E. Church, CISMBC Executive Director Sandy Baxter gave a quick look at what Communities in Schools sets out to do.
